In a sentence, to extend your life. That's the reason. This approach stems from our "Inescapable Observation" hypothesis, which takes notice of the following: Young people do not generally have issues or pathologies that take their life, while older people, age 70-80 have muliple health issues, and die. The major difference between a young man, and an old man is the sex hormone levels which dictates the level of maintenance performed in the body. Some may argue that the hayflick limit (telomere based) is a limited factor. This might be true, but the hayflick limit is reported to take place ar around age 120. We die around age 80 from hormone depletion. Therefore, this suggests that there is a connection or link, from those pathologies that kill humans, to the sex hormone levels and balance. Scientists and researchers are constantly looking for direct connections between pathologies and their causes. We have established some cause and effect associations such as; sugar causes heart disease, excess estrogen and xenoestrogens contribute prostate cancer, trans fats increase LDL cholesterol, being overweight causes inflammation, etc. However, if we can back away a bit, and look at the "big picture", we see an interesting pattern. We see an age related decline in the sex hormones, with a big increase in pathologies that cause death. There is just no way to get around this picture. It strongly suggests that all pathologies are somehow related to those hormones. So, with that in mind, let us take a look at some pathologies and their recently found causes.

These are just a few articles that indicate a connection with pathologies to the sex hormones. Our "Inescapable Observation" is stating that there is a link, whether direct or indirect, between the declinging sex hormones and many other pathologies, such as arthritis, weight gain, dry skin, tendon weakness, etc. This hypothesis greatly underscores the vital need to keep the sex hormones at healthy levels, if we want any chance of living to age 120, so we can at least test the hayflick hypothesis. Currently, the Time Machine is the only product that could get us there.

Hormones are the chemical messengers in the body that instruct cells to perform their associated tasks, or to multiply. The tasks that cells perform are involved in maintaining the body. As you perform your daily routine, the body sustains damage to muscles, tendons, and joints. With proper maintenance, those same muscles, tendons and joints rebuild and stay strong. As testosterone, growth hormone and IGF-1 decline, the maintenance also declines. Cell division slows, muscles don't regenerate as well. Tendons get weak, and joint cartilage wears away without being replaced. The aging male cannot keep up with younger men, because their bodies cannot do the required maintenance,.....unless the hormones are raised back up. This is the purpose of the Time Machine.

An analogy is this: If you wish to build a house, you generally need a contractor, many workers, and the raw materials. The contractor (hormones) tells the workers (cells) what to do with the raw materials (nutrients), and the house can be built. This holds true in the body. The hormones act as the contractor. The hormones tell the cells what to do with the nutrients. Flooding the body with nutrients, in the absence of sufficient hormone levels has little effect on good maintenance.. The hormone levels have to be sufficient in order to gain significant benefits.

Men experience three (3) main hormones that decline with age; growth hormone, testosterone and IGF-1. which creates a number of undesirable health issues, and eventually death. The aging process is much like a domino effect. The results of aging are muscle weakness, collagen erosion, cognitive decline, sexual decline and vascular decline, all following the decline in sex hormone levels. As far as anyone knows, the hormones seem to be at or near the front of the domino line. By raising the hormone levels back up, the theory is that all of the aforementioned aging problems can be reversed. The trick is to do this naturally, using the body's natural pathways. This is what is exciting about the Time Machine. We can address these issues, with one product, and attempt to stop this domino effect, and reverse the known negative symtoms of aging.

Growth hormone is normally peaked during adolescence, and declines by 14% per decade thereafter. Adult males produce about 500 micrograms of growth hormone at age 20, 200 micrograms at age 40, and 25 micrograms at age 80. The decline in IGF-1 levels with age matches the decline of growth hormone.

Effects of growth hormone (GH) on the tissues of the body are mainly anabolic. GH acts by interacting with a specific receptors on the surface of cells. Increased height during childhood is the most widely known effect of GH. Height appears to be stimulated by at least two mechanisms: Because polypeptide hormones are not fat-soluble, they cannot penetrate cell membranes. Thus, GH exerts some of its effects by binding to receptors on target cells, where it activates the MAPK/ERK pathway. Through this mechanism GH directly stimulates division and multiplication of chondrocytes of cartilage. GH also stimulates, through the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, the production of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). The liver is a major target organ of GH for this process and is the principal site of IGF-1 production. IGF-1 has growth-stimulating effects on a wide variety of tissues. Additional IGF-1 is generated within target tissues, making it what appears to be both an endocrine and an autocrine/paracrine hormone. IGF-1 also has stimulatory effects on osteoblast and chondrocyte activity to promote bone growth.

Growth hormone also has other effects on the body:

• Increases calcium retention, and increases the mineralization of bone
• Increases muscle mass by way of "sarcomere hyperplasia"
• Promotes lipolysis
• Increases protein synthesis
• Stimulates the growth of all internal organs excluding the brain
• Plays a role in homeostasis
• Reduces liver uptake of glucose
• Promotes gluconeogenesis in the liver
• Contributes to the maintenance and function of pancreatic islets
• Improves immune system function

Medical research has indicated that the aging pituitary somatotroph cells can still secrete as much growth hormone as the young somatotrophs cells if they are properly stimulated. This leads to the reason for the decline in growth hormone to be caused by the inhibitor, somatostatin. Here is the good news. Somatostatin can be inhibited by a natural variant of the B vitamin, called CDP Choline, which is why it is present in the Time Machine. Clinical studies show a 400% increase with this method, effectively taking a 50-60 year old man back to age 25-30. All natural, no side effects. We like this method.

Testosterone is peaked during the teen and early adult years. Testosterone declines by around 1% per year starting around age 30. What is considered normal is quite a spread. Teens between the ages of 14 and 15 years typically have between 8 to 53 ng/dL of testosterone in their blood, while 16 to 19-year-olds average 200 to 970 ng/dL. Men in their 20s or 30s can expect to have a testosterone level of 270 to 1,080 ng/dL. From 40 to 59 years of age, testosterone levels drop to between 350 and 890 ng/dL. From 60 years on, a typical testosterone level in men is between 350 and 720 ng/dL.

Testosterone levels drop for several reason, like binding with SHBG and aromatase, but there is another alarming reason, and that is higher resistance of the leydig cells to Leutinizing hormone (LH). LH generally increases with age, no doubt to increase testosterone, but since testosterone generally decreases with age, this suggests a "resistance" of the legdig cells to LH (primary hypogonadism). Testosterone can also decline if a person has insulin resistance. The mechanism for this is currently unknown. Regarding the resistance, leydig cells depend upon a variety of enzymes to convert Cholesterol into testostone. The decline of these enzymes are responsible for the resistance of leydig cells to properly respond to LH. The Time Machine is equipped with the specific food extracts that have been shown by clinical trials, to restore these enzymes, thus improving the response of leydig cells to LH. Another reason for the drop in testosterone is possibly related to environmental factors and other health issues. This information comes from research done by David Handelsman, MD, PhD, professor and director of the ANZAC Research Institute at the University of Sydney.

Testosterone has different functions depending upon a persons age. Here we examine the general role of testosterone in adult males. Testosterone affects or helps the following:

• Libido and penile erection frequency
• Regulates acute HPA response under dominance challenge
• Mental and physical energy
• Maintenance of muscle strength and growth
• Reduce cardiovascular disease, by indirect methods, such as reducing visceral fat.

Testosterone activates genes in Sertoli cells, which promote differentiation of spermatogonia.

As testosterone affects the entire body (by enlarging; men have bigger hearts, lungs, liver, etc.), the brain is affected by this "sexual" advancement. Literature shows that attention, memory, and spatial ability are key brain functions affected by testosterone in humans.

Progesterone declines as men age. Progesterone counteract the effects of estrogen in the male body. Men rely on the this hormone to preserve their masculinity. Progesterone (along with DHEA) is a precursor to testosterone. As men age and testosterone begins to decline, estrogen levels steadily rise. As estrogen levels increase, progesterone levels decrease. An increase in progesterone results in a decrease in estrogen..

Symptoms of low progesterone in men include:

• Low libido
• Hair loss
• Weight gain
• Fatigue
• Depression
• Gynecomastia
• Erectile dysfunction
• Impotence· Bone loss
• Muscle loss
In addition, men with low levels of progesterone have a higher risk of developing health conditions, such as osteoporosis, arthritis, prostatism and prostate cancer.

Estrogen dominance is a term used by Dr. John R. Lee, and it describes a condition where a man has more estrogen than progesterone in his blood. Even if a man's estrogen levels are low, it is still possible that he will have estrogen dominance, if testosterone is lower. Aside from the rise in SHBG and the activity of aromatase, another cause of estrogen dominance in men is exposure to xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens which are hormone-mimicking chemicals found in consumer-based products and even in the air we breathe.

Estrogen dominance, according to Dr. Lee results in elevated visceral fat, and the proliferation of prostate cells, among other unwanted changes in the male body.

The Uncontrollable issues: Even if a person is taking the Time Machine, you might still be creating the issue of extrogen dominance without knowing it, by not monitoring the quality of the food that we eat. The leading causes of deaths in the 1900's was dyptheria, tuberculosis and gastrointestinal infections. In the year 2010 the leading causes of death were heart disease, cancer and chronic airways diseases. The introduction of sugars and preservatives in processed foods, genetically modified foods and other pollutants have created challenges to life itself. Xenoestrogens can further erode the delicate balance of the male endocrine system. by way of estrogen dominance. Excess estrogen in the male body creates numerous problems and much of it comes from our environment. Sperm counts worlwide among males dropped 50% from 1940 to 1990. The bottom line is, we have more environmental problems from irresponsible corporations feeding our craving for convenience, that men need help now more than ever. By adopting a sensible regimen of unprocessed foods, devoid in sugar, free from pesticides, and by eliminating other xenoestrogens from the household, you can reduce the estrogen dominance factors from your life and body.

The Time Machine has the ingredients that have been clinically shown to enhance production of the sex hormones in the male body. The only other issue, is to cut sugar and high glycemic foods, and reduce omega 6 fatty acids to around 1000-1500 mg per day, while raising omega 3's (from fish oil) to around 3000-4000 mg per day. Getting sufficient fats from the right source is good. It's a fact that men who are on low fat diets, also generally have low testosterone levels. The leydig cells use cholesterol to make testosterone. Contrary to popular belief, cholesterol is not the root cause of heart disease, sugar is the root cause. The ideal way to take the Time Machine, is to also eat around 400-800 mg of cholesterol per day. This would mean, beef liver. Beef liver is high in protein and low in omega 6 fatty acids, unlike eggs, which is high in omega 6's. If you cut the sugar, and excess omega 6's, you should have no additional trouble with blood pressure, and by making lots of testosterone, you could cut your risk of coronary heart disease.
